Berlin, Street Art, and Frankie

First of all, what is this? Please tell me.

Jana and I waiting for our hostel check-in time in Berlin.

I really appreciate this person's font skills.

HERE BEGINS THE MAGICAL ALLEY OF STREET ART.

This magical alley of street art is also where the Anne Frank museum in Berlin is located.

Through this magical door is a building in which every surface (floor, ceiling, stairs, walls, underside of stairs) are all covered in art. It felt like falling into an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole of street art.

It was on the top floor of this magnificent building (where street artists sold prints of their work) that my precious Frankie found another resting place. She overlooks the courtyard below filled with Anne Frank and artwork along with a cute little cafe that served organic food, tea, and coffee.

Jana and I got stuck in a downpour after eating a late lunch at a little cafe. Moved inside from our sidewalk table to stay dry.

Found an artist's exhibition at a gallery that I must go see again sometime. I want his work! It was sadly closed that day so I could do nothing more but stare with longing through the windows.

I thought that Be Excellent was fitting. It made me feel pretty awesome in the moment.

A beautiful synagogue. It is so old and beautiful that police protect it to ensure that the people there and the building itself stays safe from shitty extremists still lingering about.
Royse City! I have no idea what this means (and Jana didn't either), but this is the only time I have seen royse spelled the same as my hometown.

 Beautiful Miss First World.

My precious Frankie is also resting at the Berlin Wall. It is a site that has gone through much in history but is now a place of love and art as a reminder to all that visit it of what our world has gone through. I put her on the back side of the wall, but most of my pictures come from the front.

 High Five!

The amount of refugees welcome shirts, bags, stickers, signs, etc that I saw all over Germany was truly beautiful.

Pharoah Monch! He was one of the artists featured in my thesis! Cool to see that he was in Germany just a bit after I was there.

I like colorful chairs and tables. They make my heart happy.

Ice skates by the recycling bins.

The Berlin bear located in our hostel. I think he looks quite charming.
